The UnifiedRoot, an Inclusive
Name Space Top-Level Domain (TLD) registry and root provider, has
cancelled over 300 TLDs registered by Greenland Turtle Compagny Ltd.
claiming it made an error in making the registrations in the first place.

Erik Seeboldt the Managing Director of UnifiedRoot took this action
shortly after the PublicRoot Consortium expressed it's concerns that
Elizabeth Pauchet, an officer of Greenland Turtle,
is an
associate of the TMF Group and that UnifiedRoot's rules of conduct
may have been violated.
The TMF Group, a company that provides management services to
UnifiedRoot, and who's
directors have also invested in the venture, have
denied Elizabeth Pauchet has any association with them. However the
United States Security and Exchange Commission has on file documentation
showing there is a connection between Pauchet and TMF.

Seeboldt
explained in
his reply to the
PublicRoot Consortium that although no association existed and the
rules of conduct had not been violated the "TLDs of Elizabeth Pauchet were
never accepted".
According to Seeboldt the registrations were due to a problem in the
back office software they purchased from UNIDT. He said, "with the
migration to our new back office we could finally correct this situation".
UnifiedRoot has made the TLDs available for registration but the
PublicRoot Consortium has asked that no registrations be allowed until
further investigations are conducted. Martijn
Burger the Chairman of the Internet
Name Authorization & Information Center (INAIC) has expressed concerns
that these TLDs are the subject of an investigation by the Dutch tax
authorities.
