Istanbul, June 25, 2005

The Internet Names Authorization & Information Center (INAIC) Council Advisory Committee is very pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Mehmet Altuner to the INAIC World Council. Dr. Mehmet Altuner is presently the Head of the Telecommunications Authority Technical Regulation and Standardization Department for the Turkish Government. He has published 9 books, written 6 International Scientific Reports and he has published many articles in various international publications. In addition, Dr. Altuner has received 6 awards in recognition of his achievements!

As part of the ongoing evolutionary process the INAIC Council Advisory Committee ensures that members of the INAIC Council have no conflict of interest, are representative of a geographical region, and have an excellent professional standing in the community. To this end the INAIC Council Advisory Committee has been polling people in our community to take up the challenge of Council with some focus regional representation.

Dr. Altuner will be an excellent addition to the INAIC Council. Dr. Altuner is eager in helping establish the organization's legitimacy and standing in the community. Its an honor to have Dr. Mehmet Altuner in the INAIC World Council.
