The Public-Root acquires a controlling Interest in Planet Communications & Computing Facility, Ltd.

The Public-Root today acquired a controlling interest in Planet Communications & Computing Facility, Ltd. (PCCF). PCCF is a federally incorporated Canadian infrastructure company that provides the Public-Root with Internet Protocol numbers. These numbers support root server operations for a.public-root.net.

In 1992, PCCF organized as an association at the University of Toronto in Toronto Canada. These facilities supported communications between student news organizations and reporters at various Universities and Colleges across Canada.
