Today Herman Xennt the Managing Director of
The Internet Names Authorization and
Information Center (INAIC) announced the commencement of operations.
Together with PublicRoot and UNified IDentity Technology (UNIDT) a
worldwide registrar of corporate Top-Level Domains (TLDs), the INAIC
organization will provide a framework to represent stakeholders in the
Inclusive NameSpace.
The INAIC is an international public service agency organized
and dedicated to the maintenance of public information resources that
facilitate the coordination and resolution of global TLDs through the
PublicRoot server system. The INAIC will act as the official
representative body for PublicRoot, the next generation global Internet.
The INAIC's main function is to ensure the universal resolvability of
TLDs in the PublicRoot and the Inclusive NameSpace domain name system
(DNS). Universal resolvability guarantees that all users of the Internet
can connect to all valid addresses. It is critical to the operation and
stability of the global Internet that users and hosts find each other.
The explosive growth and commercialization of the Internet has generated
worldwide interest in new TLDs and requires new registries available to
run them. There is also a worldwide demand for corporations to register
their own corporate TLDs without the need for a public
registry. Through UNIDT all corporations have the ability to register
their own TLD including millions of domain names associated with them.
The PublicRoot system is the only reliable technology that supports
universal resolvability eliminating domain name conflicts. Universal
resolvability is of critical important to the proper operation of the
Internet and the Domain Name System (DNS).
